Common Boomerang Issues
It's frustrating when you capture the perfect moment, but the app crashes or the boomerang won't save. Here are the most common fixes.
1. Update the App
Instagram pushes updates frequently. An outdated app is the #1 cause of missing features. Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and check for updates.
2. Clear Cache (Android)
On Android, you can clear the app cache without deleting the app. Go to Settings > Apps > Instagram > Storage > Clear Cache.
3. Check Your Connection
Sometimes the Boomerang records but fails to process or upload due to a weak internet connection. Try switching to Wi-Fi.
4. Reinstall the App
If all else fails, delete Instagram and reinstall it. This clears out any corrupted data. Don't worry, your account data is safe in the cloud.
5. Use an Alternative
